Rice Husk Reusable Travel Cup

Rice husk reusable travel cups. Quirky reusable tea/coffee cups made from rice husk in a classic charcoal colour. These cups are 100% biodegradable, as they contain no melamine,  dishwasher or microwave safe and don’t stain. They will last for years if you look after them but once you are ready to dispose of the cup soak it in water overnight, crush and bury it in compost or soil. The rice husk cup will start to biodegrade in the soil within 6 months.

Did you know that reusable bamboo cups still contain 15-20% plastic in the form of melamine so despite the claims made they are not fully recyclable or compostable. Plus they have been linked to health concerns as they release formaldehyde when heated.
